Hello everyone! I hope you all had a very good conference weekend. It was actually the best one I've ever had. It was crazy how I payed so much better attention in an uncomfortable chair than on a couch. So how it worked was our district decided we wanted the best seats in the whole place, so we went right at 6:40 and put all our stuff down in the front row of the auditorium/gym place. We were also 1 and a half hours early to each session which if you had asked me to do last conference I would have called you nuts. But we did it anyways;) anyways we had the front row for all 5 sessions of conference so we thought we were pretty cool. The talks were really great this year! I loved Elder Hales talk. It was just a very insightful talk and gave lots of great advice. Id invite you all to go and watch it.
So the back fence story, there is this kid who leaves his sister a letter in the fence behind the MTC every night and my district and I love to just go and watch them leave letters to each other. We never take any of the candy she leaves him but we think its so funny that they just leave notes in the fence. Technically that's a big no no but he was an English elder so he was only here 12 days so we just could watch until this morning when there wasn't a response so we figured he left. So your probably wondering how we found that little set up, well when we where outside during the BYU game for our free time we saw this kid walk past the fence and like stop and attach something to it. So naturally we all had to go see what it was. Well we have had a lot of enjoyment following this Elders letter sending the past few days.
Anyways after a session of conference we went into a bathroom because we heard this like waterfall noise and we open the door and these 2 toilets are just over filling it was actually a quite enjoyable way to end or session of conference.
I can also say that I've now had every meal in the cafeteria. There are some that really I could go the rest of my life without and probably be ok. But my greatest disappointment was Sunday night after conference. The meal was Salad! what kinda meal is that?? it was a salad bar what a crummy way to end conference. Actually it wasn't that bad just a little saddening so obviously I had to eat enough cookies and ice cream to make up for the healthy stuff I had just eaten. So I guess all is right in the world again.
Well thats about all for this week!
