Man this week was great spiritually! we had a sweetas zone conference where Pres. Back and Sis. Back came and man I just love them they are great! so this time they talked about the The Standard of Truth:
“The Standard of Truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done.” (In case you dont know it) and it was really great to talk about how to help the work progress and different parts of it.
Then we had stake confrence which in all honesty back home I thought was boringas like it was long haha. But this one was really great! Elder Leota of the 70 came and talked more about missionary work and how canberra stake is only 4 wards and 1 branch for the past 20 years and we need to step it up and get the work moving here so hopefully it got the members energetic about the work!
Anyways now to the car! So we decided that it needed a wash before zone conference cause you know car inspections. So we get it to the wash and there is just some stuff caked on and the other elders pull out a sponge(like for the dishes with the green side) and they start to scrub the car. well we think thats a great idea (for some reason that we have no idea why) and we get in on it as well! well we get home and the paint is like umm scratched all over! So ya being the smart people we are we go to the auto shop and buy wax and wax the entire car like 3 times for about 4 hours to fix it! And well thanks to the great wax and countless prayers that we wouldn't get killed the car looked good as new. So I guess we learned that you can't use the green side of a sponge and prayers are answered.
Well have a great week all!

We really learned that not all the other faiths were out to get us and it helped us out when we were feeling a little down just walking around all day so it was a great thing!
Yes orientation week- so like there are just heaps of stalls and you walk around and try to get everyone to join your club it was so stressful hahah!
Ya it was a little awkward (referring to his companion and the grocery store) but like I'm not to sure what to do so this week we just kept the whole experience pretty simple and he payed for what he wanted and I payed for the other stuff ahhaha
Its helping me because I feel like I can be more relatable to other missionaries who might not be having success and their comp is hard. I'll be able to understand their frustrations so hopefully that will come in use one day:)
Man it was so good! But then like Sunday night we had had a couple killer lessons with him and then we got a text sunday that he was to busy to meet up with us anymore and he was grateful for all we had done but he doesn't think that right now is the right time for him... so kinda a downer, but we have a couple other investigators we can keep working with:)
