This week at the MTC has been great. I have definitely felt my testimony grow this week. As I've been studying the Old Testament I've found some really cool stories that I had forgotten about. This week my favorite story was in Danial about Shadrac Meshac and Aben-Dego (not sure how to spell there names) but they were told that they had to worship an image created by Nebuchadnezzar and they wouldn't do it. They refused to worship the image so the king threw them in the fire. Then the fire kills the guards closest to it, and Nebuchadnezzar can see a fourth person standing in the flames protecting them. I think that story is great because it shows that we have to stand up for what we believe in. As we stand up for righteousness things we will be persecuted but as the story shows we never are truly left alone. The angle was protecting them from harm, just like when we dare to stand for our beliefs we'll be protected.
